Thank you for your interest in my blog, my name is John Wiley, and I hope you find the material here informative and useful. In the fall of 2012, I finished my B.A. in Christian Ministries from Piedmont International University with minors in Pastoral Studies, Expanded Bible, and History. In 2014, I also graduated with my M.A. in Biblical Studies at Piedmont. Thereafter, I completed my M.A. in Humanities with a concentration in United States History from Adams State university, where I wrote my thesis, “The Soul of Magic City: Religion in Roanoke, Virginia, 1882-1914.” I am currently pursuing my Doctor of Ministry degree at Tyndale Theological Seminary. I love teaching, preaching, reading, studying history, philosophy, and theology, watching movies, exploring the world, drinking great coffee, and spending quality time with friends and family. In addition to my full-time, social studies teaching job at Roanoke Valley Christian Schools, I am also an online Advising Professor at Tyndale Theological Seminary and Biblical Institute.
I am married to my beautiful wife, Cindy, and we are raising our son, Carson, together in a small town outside of Roanoke, Virginia.
